It is a 2,181 miles foot-trail, which straddles and crests the Appalachian Mountains all the way from North Georgia to Northern Maine.
Have you ever dreamed of getting out in the wilderness and experiencing what it would be like to carry everything you need for a 3 or 4-day camping trip on your back?
If so, join the A.T. Adventurers for a backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail.
2012 is the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts of USA!
Join the AT Adventurers for our 17th hike along the Appalachian Trail.
In celebration of the GS 100th Anniversary, and our 17th annual hike, we are inviting all girl scouts and previous participants to join us on our 2012 hike in the mountains of Virginia.
Cost for backpacking trip:
- Adults — $155.00 each
- Girls — $80.00 each
- Whitewater rafting $55-70/person; actual cost TBA
